About Medion Drivers. Medion is a Germany-based electronics brand owned by Lenovo, with product range in laptops, notebooks, monitors, phones, tablets, network cards, etc.If you install a new Medion device and it can’t work properly, in most cases, the problem lies in the incompatible Medion drivers, and you need to download and install the correct Medion drivers for your Windows computer.

I have the same issue.
I downloaded the .exe install file for the printer drivers for my Epson printer. When I try to run the program it appears that nothing happens, even I specifically choose 'Run as Administrator.' I get the usual 'User Account Control' dialog box which asks if i want to allow this program to make changes to my computer and I respond 'Yes.' Then it just does nothing.
Watching the 'Processes' tab in Task Manager shows 2 'Com Surrogate' processes start up and they live for about 5-10 seconds and then go away. Watching the 'Details' tab I see 2 dllhost.exe processes start up and the same thing.
I received this new laptop for Christmas and I have had almost no luck installing apps. When I tried to install the Adobe Acrobat Reader I had the same problem. Finally, after allowing the battery to completely run dead, plugging the laptop in, letting it charge for a few minutes before booting and the powering up I was finally able to get a Windows Update to run and then for some unknown reason to me the Adobe install finally worked. Of course I had probably 50 failed attempts first. Plus, while trying I could not get the laptop to come to a full shutdown nor could I get the Windows Update to run. Seems that letting the laptop battery die forced all of that somehow.
I am very disappointed with this. No user should have to experience this sort of frustration with absolutely no error messages or any information that gives any clues to why this might be happening.
I have checked the security properties on /username/AppData/Local/temp because I found one forum stating that this could be an issue since application installs typically use that folder. The security settings for username, SYSTEM and Administrators all have Allow for all permissions, so they all have Full Control.
Why are the installs not working? What can I do?
Thanks for any help you can provide.
